Aarsleff Pipe Technologies are specialists in internal renewal of pipe systems. For more than 30 years, we have renewed both vertical and horizontal pipes by means of Aarsleff CIPP Lining. Today, we are able to renew almost all types of pipes, including ventilation ducts.We see an increasing demand for renewal of leaky ventilation ducts and chimneys. Especially from owners of old residential buildings. Moreover, there are often disused chimneys in many buildings. We are able to convert these chimneys into ventilation ducts which results in a better indoor climate. We renew leaky chimneys and ventilation ducts by means of Aarsleff CIPP Lining, which is a flexible, inexpensive and efficient method. Aarsleff CIPP Lining is made of acid-proof polyester felt and has an expected lifetime of 100 years.
When we are to renew a ventilation duct or a chimney, we start the work with a preliminary CCTV inspection, so that we are able to form a view of the specific challenges that we are facing. In most cases, we have to clean before we can install the Aarsleff CIPP Lining. Cleaning takes place under continuous CCTV surveillance.
We install the soft Aarsleff CIPP Lining from entry points that are can be difficult to access. When the liner has been installed, we cure it using the method suited for the specific job. In some cases, it only takes a few hours to carry out the curing procedure. We finish the work with a final CCTV inspection which documents that the renewal work is of the right standard of quality. Finally, we connect the renewed chimney or ventilation duct to the existing systems.
