In wastewater treatment plants, aeration and mixing in biological reactors are provided by aerators. Aerators are designed in a wide operating range and with different capacities, depending on the oxygen requirements of the systems. In tanks with variable water levels, pontoon systems are mounted on aerators to enable them to adapt to water level differences.
