• Soundproofed feed hopper for medium- size granulators, designed for minimum noise level and for easy feeding, with several alternative feed options available
• All machine housing are manufactured in a horizontal or diagonally divided robust steel weld housing
• The cutting rotor turns in extremely robust self-aligning roller bearings that are arranged in bearing housings outside of the cutting chamber
• Access to the rotor and stator knives is simple with the divided cutting chamber which can be opened mechanically or hydraulically
• All rotating and stationary knives manufacture from high quality tool steel, with precision machining, heath treatment and surface finish
• Good accessibility for cleaning and maintenance
• The electrical equipment is completed with TELEMECHANIQUE elements and fitted with all necessary safety devices
• All granulators are equipped by standard with a suction group including a ventilator, flexible pipes and cyclone with filter

• The VESPA Granulators medium-size and heavy series are built for large volume central or beside-the-press granulation of sprues, runners, moulded items, profiles, pipes, sheets and films.

• Specially adapted machines are available for granulating film, small pipes and profiles, boxes and bottles.

Applications of the plastic granulators
VESPA Granulators Small series are intended for beside-the-press operations involving the direct recycling of plastic waste and rejects primarily from injection and blow moulding processes, whereas the medium-size and heavy series plastic granulators are built for large volume central or beside-the-press size reduction of sprues, moulded items, profiles, pipes, sheets and films.

Important features of the plastic granulators
Every plastic granulator is equipped with soundproofed feed hopper designed for minimum noise level and easy feeding, with several alternative feed options available. The housings of the machines are manufactured in a horizontally or diagonally devided robust steel weld design. The cutting rotor turns in extremely robust self-aligning roller bearings that are arranged in bearing housings outside of the cutting chamber. The access to the knives is made simple with the divided cutting chamber which can be opened mechanically or hydraulically. The electrical equipment is completed with SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC elements and fitted with all necessary safety devices. Every plastic granulator from our Medium and Heavy Series is equipped with a suction group including a ventilator, flexible pipes and cyclone with filter.The Small Series can also be equipped with suction groups upon customer’s request.

Special version plastic granulators
Specially adapted machines are available for granulating film, small pipes and profiles, boxes and bottles. Soundproof insulation is available for the majority of the models.
