VIA Laser & Systemtechnik GmbH in Suhl / Thuringia was founded in 1998 as a joint venture of the VIA "Association of innovative automotive suppliers" based in North Rhine-Westphalia. Today the company is owned by shareholders from North Rhine-Westphalia and Bavaria. At the first location in Benshausen near Suhl, the company started in rented buildings with two employees. After the first growth phase, the company moved into its own, modern buildings in the Suhl-Friedberg industrial estate at the end of 2000. In 2004, the production area was expanded by two halls, so that today a good 4000 square meters of production space is available.

The combination of these technologies combined with the comprehensive manufacturing know-how of our employees enables us to manufacture complex assemblies for demanding industries such as automotive, medical technology, plant/mechanical engineering, agricultural technology, building and energy technology, etc. The convenient location in the middle of Germany, continuous investment in new production facilities, the training and further education of employees, our flexibility, top quality at competitive cost structures and flat hierarchies with short decision-making processes are the basis for our success and the good reputation we have with our customers.

We want long-term, satisfied customer relationships and therefore focus on innovation, sustainability, close cooperation with a high level of customer orientation. We always work cost-consciously and invest our profits in the further development of our 50 employees, in machines, systems, technologies and processes. We maintain fair and cooperative relationships with suppliers and can offer customers an optimal solution for their manufacturing tasks.
