Vonroll Keula - Model HYTEC -Modular Hydrant System
Modular construction – Maintenance-free – Developed and manufactured in Switzerland. Because of the modular design used, just a small number of components can be combined to meet a wide range of needs. 1 to 3 hosepipe con nections with 55 or 75 Storz connections, with or without ORTOMAT leak age-detection and in a selection of colours.
A maintenance-free and protected investment
Hydrant-housing and profiled base are made of sea-water and weather-proof aluminium alloy. They can easily cope with aggressive tunnel conditions and demonstrate excellent hygienic characteristics when in contact with drinking-water.
The outer surfaces of the hydrant-housing and hosepipe connections made of aluminium as well as the base made of
galvanised steel are coated with a robust, weatherproof Toplex coating.
As corrosion-resistant materials and perfectly-matched combinations of wearesistant components are used, the hydrant can be considered maintenance-free.
Vandalisation-proof pipe connections with covers in aluminium, robust mounting brackets, bayonet locking mechanism and a recessed square-end operating bolt in the Storz cap.
EN-standards-tested predetermined break points in the bolts between the top and bottom parts of the hydrant prevent loss of water and damage to the hydrant in the case of a collision.
