Voprom - Model Version 2 -SBR Indoor Plants
PVS VOPROM SBR plants are designed for extremely variable inlet loads. They operate using an advances form of SBR (Sequencing Batch Reactor) process which has been further developed by PVS. The PVS-VOPROM-reactor plant consist of one or more PE-tanks. The volume and quantity of tanks depends on the plant treatment requirements.
The PVS-VOPROM SBR reactor plant is the first and only of its kind in which a process-oriented sludge balance is automatically maintained using PVS patented technologies during the biological wastewater treatment process. For the customer this means minimal personal and operating costs in comparison with conventional sewage plants. This new PVS generation of biological treatment systems has been developed to conform with local requirements regarding environment and architecture policies as well as the space required due to the modular concept. To find out more about our PVS-VOPROM SBR wastewater treatment reactor plants, we have included a short information folder of a typical PVS plant.
This modular system is designed for applications ranging from single family dwellings of 5PE up to municipalities with 10,000PE, entailing a hydraulic and organic load of 1m3/d and 0.3 kg BOD5/d up to 9,000m3/d and 1800kg BOD5/d, respectively.
Recommendation: In order to prevent an increase of the hydraulic load capacity of the wastewater treatment plant caused by external water entry, we strongly recommend a separate sewer or channel system.
Plant size: Calculation of the plant size is made within the existing emission and immission limit values enforced by local wastewater authorities. Thus differing plant sizes can result even at the same inlet loading values.
General reasons:
- PVS has more than 35 years experience in the wastewater sector.
- Everything under one roof: planning, development, manufacturing, execution and customer service.
- Thousands of proven results in reactor technology for both domestic and international markets.
Specific reasons:
- Lowest operation costs due to fully automated process operation and automatic program selection coordinated with the actual current inlet quantities.
- Patented sludge management and other important equipment features which guarantee reliable and trouble-free operation.
- High operation security since each reactor represents an individual wastewater treatment plant.
- Short construction periods due to the modular system and its inherent pre-fabricated parts as well as minimal construction costs related to simple industrial building design.
- Wastewater is treated in hygienic, sealed plastic tanks thus eliminating odour emissions or esthetic disturbance.
- A self regulating PLC which automatically switches the reactors and other plant components on or off depending on the wastewater to be treated.
- Minimal maintenance costs since all electro-mechanical equipment is protected by simple housing which eliminates any influence of weather.
- Complete solutions such as PVS water and sludge management plans for utilization of treated wastewater and excess sludge.
- When required, drinking water production and wastewater treatment can be provided from one supplier, providing huge saving potential in planning and execution.
This also applies to PVS decentralized plants:
These PVS VOPROM SBR reactor wastewater treatment plants are individual plants which are erected on site without long sewers or transport channels and in comparison to centralized wastewater treatment plants off the following advantages:
- No mixing of wastewater from industries or substances which are difficult to break down.
- No digestion of sewage while being transported in long sewer networks or transport channels and no deposition within the sewer network.
- No increase in hydraulic inlet quantity caused by leaky sewer connections or man-hole covers.
- Separate collection system with short pipelines and medium or high inlet concentrations.
- Buffer tank for equalization of peak loading and homogenization of influent load.
The ideal range of applications includes:
- Individual or multiple family dwellings
- Small and medium-sized municipalities
- Tourist-frequented areas
- Hotels, restaurants, golf clubs, ski areas, recreation parks, camping areas, daytrip destinations such as mountain chalets etc.
- Hospitals, homes and health resorts
- Holiday islands with autonomous infrastructure
- Airports
- All applications where high sewer costs will be created because of a connection to a centralized wastewater plant.
PVS plants: For use wherever organically polluted wastewater occurs and cost efficient treatment is required. Also for use in specific projects where high treatment performance must be continuously maintained in spite of extreme influent variation.
