The EPDA system utilizes innovative technology that combines high-voltage and high frequency pulses discharge with an air bubble flow to treat and disinfect secondary or tertiary effluents, enabling their reuse. This process takes place in the secondary stage of wastewater treatment, where the water still contains some solid materials and has some turbidity, requiring additional purification for complete treatment and reuse. Typically, this is done by disinfecting the effluent with chlorine (which is prohibited), ultraviolet light, or ozone.
