Tuffskid - Model 37 -Wall Mount Tuff Skid Pump
Our wall mount skid has the same exceptional quality as our standard floor skids only it is designed to be mounted on a wall, either where space is limited or above a day tank, tote or barrel. Through engineering and the use of the super strong HDPE material the wall skid is capable of holding up to 300 pounds of pump and equipment. It is supplied with a large, strong, 316 SS wall bracket for mounting. The wall skid like all TuffSkids is designed with a built in containment area with sloping deck and drain connection in the small sump area. The Wall Mount TuffSkid is one of three chemical metering skids considered portable in nature. The TuffSkid can be removed from the wall for transport to another area or to a maintenance are by disconnecting the TuffSkid from the system with the installed unions.
The Basic TuffSkid Wall Mount system is built of ½” Sch 80 PVC piping, series 21 Asahi Ball Valves and TuffSkid Manifold Bocks(TMB‘s). These TMB’s are designed to give a superior robust mounting surface and to eliminate some of the joints required to install the required equipment. Mounted with the TMB’s are Chemline Relief Valves, Chemline Gages with Isolators, HP Drain and Flush Valves and Blacoh Pulsation Dampeners. Further additions to the TuffSkid Wall Mount system is a Calibration Column piped for use in a non-flooded application. The relief path for all TuffSkids in standard PVC is via Clear Sch 80 PVC back to the inlet header. Inlet headers come complete with Y strainer and inlet valve.
All TuffSkids are constructed of a chemical resistant High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and are 100% UV stabilized. Elastomers are selected to accommodate chemicals pumped.
Pumps are selected to meet system requirements and upgrades are redily available for harsh chemical, high pressures and large capacity systems.
