Edson - Waste Transfer Stations
Edson has assembled a few rugged, high quality sewage lift stations, made up of a submersible sewage pump, a fiberglass reinforced basin, float switches, electrical controls and selected plumbing. These small sewage pumping stations are used in combination with pump out stations.
When the discharge distance to the main sewer line is too far or too high for the primary pump out suction pump, these lift station are installed in the discharge line.
The pump out unit discharges into the lift station basin and the submersible pump with it’s higher pumping capacity handles the discharge distance to the main sewer line.
To meet the divers conditions found in marina pump out installations, Edson offers three basic waste transfer stations, a .4 hp for heads to 16 ft., a .5 hp for heads to 28 ft. and a 1 hp for heads to 48 ft.. These three packages are built around quality Myers 2” solids handling submersible sewage pumps.
For higher flow rates and higher heads Edson offers special units that have stainless vortex type submersible pumps. For the real heavy work there is a 2 hp grinder pump available.
Which one to used is based on an evaluation of the head conditions at the installation site and other considerations that would effect flow rates.
All the materials used are selected to insure long trouble free service in a marina environment.
