W2 Systems has been designing and building industry-leading pH neutralization wastewater treatment equipment for some of the top semiconductor and life sciences companies today. If you’re in such an industry, then you know that the wastewater produced by semiconductor fabrication can be rife with a range of harmful chemicals, such as arsenic, salts, alkalis, acids, solvents, antimony, and other pure organic and inorganic compounds. If the goal is to simply dump the leftover waste, it can’t be done while remaining in accordance with the EPA’s specifications without an adequate wastewater pH neutralization system. Our systems support you in bringing the wastewater closer to a base pH and making it ready to be dumped.
Industrial wastewater neutralization systems are sometimes referred to as pH neutralization systems—this is because the goal when implementing waste pH neutralization is to take the alkali and acidic wastewater streams and mix them together thoroughly until the wastewater is closer to a base pH and ready to be dumped entirely. If the pH of the wastewater is not within an acceptable range, then additional chemicals will have to be added to ensure the wastewater reaches a desirable pH level.
