WaStop - PVC/PE Pipe

How it works

The revolutionary patented and certified Wastop® inline check valve can be installed in minutes in a pipeline or chamber. It can be installed either horizontally or vertically and either at an inlet or outlet. WaStop® can be installed to prevent backflow in all cases.

Flow in the normal direction causes a slight pressure buildup against the membrane which in turn causes the membrane to open just enough to allow the flow to pass unhindered. When backflow occurs the membrane fills with water or gas and acts as a stopper blocking all back flow in the pipe or drain. WaStop® check valve can be designed to withstand up to 12 meters back pressure.

Available Models

WaStop® PVC Range is constructed using PVC housing and an elastomer membrane.

WaStop® PVC range can be customised with flanges if required. Contact WaStop International AB or your local representative for assistance in choosing the right alternative for your particular project.

WaStop PVC/PE inline range are manufacture to fit inline with existing PVC and PE pipes.  The outer diameter of the existing pipe determines the required WaStop dimension. Please contact WaStop International AB or your local representative for assistance in choosing the right dimension and type of WaStop for your application.

WaStop is available in PVC for inline installation, or PE for either inline, or insert installation.  The PVC range is constructed using a PVC housing and a special elastomer membrane.  The PE range is manufactured using the PE housing and an elastomer membrane.

The PVC range is delivered ready for installation.  Flexible couplings can be ordered together with the WaStop.  The PE range up to DN315 can be delivered ready for installation with flexible couplings (extra), or customised with flanges. WaStop PE DN1000 and larger we recommend using a PE flange (extra).
