The units have stainless steel WRAS approved pumps and manifolds with a common control panel and motor mounted inverters. Each unit has a floor standing pressure vessel supplied with valves and a drain cock for maintenance and can be fitted to either side of the set.

We would suggest that the installation should have PUK Vent/Vac valves fitted at the top of each riser to avoid hydraulic shock after power failure. The units can be supplied with anti-vibration mounts, flexible connectors and cut out float switches. 

Inverter Driven

The units are controlled to give constant pressure and will ramp up speed when the demand increases in the building. This type of control will give clients savings on energy and reduce the risks of pressure problems in the system`s pipework.

Inverter Features

• Own display (Status & alarm notifications, Pump address)

Setpoint

The units also have a “slow fill” function that only starts one pump when the power is switched on to the set. The pump will only fill to a pressure equal to that of the riser. Reducing the risk of hydraulic shock damaging the pipework system.

Controls

• The control panel comes standard with individual isolators for the pumps, low water cut out connections and a common volt free fault contact.
• The controls can also be upgraded to give full BMS control + MODBUS or BACnet protocol.
