The Timeline of Our Probe Manufacturers

Our team have experienced numerous achievements since we were initially established. In 1991 we launched with our comprehensive range of products for laboratory and industrial settings. Thanks to early success we acquired a new Braintree facility in 1994. This enabled us to undertake more complex manufacturing processes, addressing changing customer and research needs.

In order to meet increasing consumer interest, another plant was opened in Fife during the early months of 2000. While this was sufficient at the time, an increasing amount of demand from OEM customers required us to once again expand, adding to the interior space of our Fife production facility in 2008.

Thanks to the growth of Sentek as well as our flexible services, the company has tripled in size since 1998, and we continue to expand as the needs of our customers evolve over time.

The Company is committed to improving our products and service and continue to launch new products to the market to meet customers demands.

Also, it was decided that to meet the needs of the market, we needed to offer all our standard range with S7 caps, so that customers with more than one type of instrument (using different plugs) could use the electrode merely by changing cables.

However, the biggest success for SENTEK is their willingness, and flexibility to provide probes to customer design. A large percentage of the business is producing probes for manufacturers of pH, Conductivity, and DO2 meters, some of whom are the largest in the business worldwide; A further percentage is producing specifically to a customer’s design.

Whether it be a different plug, longer probe, longer cable, different colour cap, or a name other than SENTEK on the probe, we can and will do it to satisfy a customer’s wishes.
