Clean water has become costly and scarce. So each consumer must pay for his water consumption, which is registered by a water meter. This makes heavy demands on the accuracy of the meter, not just to ensure correct measurements for billing, but also because accurate measurements provide valuable information about the condition of the entire pipe system. Whatever your needs, we have the solution: from small hot and cold water meters installed in each household to the main water meter at the waterworks. Our product programme also includes systems for remote reading, permitting a remote counter or a hand terminal to read the water meter without direct access to the water meter. Fast and easy.
Accuracy, low maintenance costs, and long service life are key elements in securing sound economics. All our water meters are dry dial meters, when means that water never enters the counter, and all meters are classified in class B or C. Because there is no risk of deposits or impurities in the internal gear and bearings, measurements are always accurate and maintenance costs are low. The right water meter will have paid for itself after just a few weeks.
A dripping tap may cost you as much as 1,750 kr. each year (based on a consumption of 6 litres per hour and an average cost per cubic meter of 35 kr.). A Recordall nutating disc meter registers consumptions as low as 3 litres per hour, so everything is metered including the consumption from the dripping tap or cistern. The small extra cost for this type of water meter is quickly paid back. Anyway, the meters very long service life is an economic benefit, even in installations with no waste of water.
