Water Hero - Model P-100 -Water Protection Kit

This Water Protection Kit includes a Shutgun, safety goggles, a plastic rain coat and boot covers, and 1/2″ sheared headed attachment. The fusible link will release the installed Shutgun at a temperature of 164 degrees Fahrenheit (73.3 degrees Celsius) if there is a fire which means the building remains protected while it is in place.

• Application: The Water Protection Kit contains a hooded raincoat, rubber bands for the wrists, goggles, over-boots and a Shutgun with a 1/2” Sheared Head Attachment. This kit will keep the operator dry and protect the eyes while shutting off an activated fire sprinkler head. The Sheared Head Attachment fits onto the yellow jaw of the Shutgun and is used to shut off a fire sprinkler head that has had all or part of the frame broken off. The arms of the Sheared Head Attachment fit over the top of the frame and allow the Shutgun to shut off the water flow. The advantage of this attachment is it can be removed from the Shutgun allowing the Shutgun to be used normally.
