Can Pure WPS - Model 5 -Water Purification System

The Can Pure WPS suite of products is used by Canada`s network of urban and heavy urban search and rescue teams (USAR and HUSAR), the Ontario Provincial Police CBRN Team, fly-in fishing resorts, disaster aid groups and remote mining and exploration camps.

Choose from a host of supporting items depending on your application including hose packages, storage bladders, water transfer pumps, chlorination systems, mil-spec shipping cases, intake strainers and more. Custom design and engineering packages available.

This system is designed to treat fresh water from lakes, rivers, fire hydrants, onion tanks, etc. Designed for maximum flexibility, the core system is designed to accept raw feed water, purify it and distribute as needed. How water and electricity is provided to the unit is up to the end user. Some users draw water from a pressurized source such as a fire hydrant or garden hose while others use a portable pump to move water from a lake or river. Some users draw 120V wall power while others use a portable generator or alternate energy source (solar, vehicle, etc.) using the optional 12V inverter. The raw water is treated by microfiltration and NSF 55, Class A certified ultraviolet light. Each unit includes 6 stages of filtration with 5 different filter configurations for different types of raw water. The system produces treated water with sufficient flow and pressure to fill bottles, tanks, bladders, etc. with further options to repressurize and distribute as needed available.

• Standard Filter Config: 13.2 LPM / 3.5 GPM  (19,051 LPD / 5,040 GPD) with input of 15-19 LPM / 4-5 GPM@ 30-40 psi.

*Output may decrease w/ improper filter maintenance, inlet garden hose adapter, extreme conditions and/or a reduction in the volume/PSI of feed water. Output rated with base filter configuration under ideal conditions.

Hydraulic Requirements

• For best performance supply with raw, feed water at the rate of 15-19 LPM / 4-5 GPM@ 30-40 PSI.

Inlet / Outlet

• Inlet: 3/4” food grade female cam & groove. Outlet: 3/4” food grade male cam & groove. Includes garden hose adapter fitting for both inlet and outlet. Customized fittings and/or adapters available upon request.
