4N Water Tapping Bands deliver precision-engineered connections for water infrastructure projects, designed with both performance and installation efficiency in mind. Manufactured at our Australian facility, these high-quality tapping bands ensure secure, long-lasting connections across diverse pipe materials and sizes.

Engineered for Performance
Our Water Tapping Bands are precision-moulded from premium glass-reinforced Noryl resin, complemented by 316 stainless steel bolts and nuts coated with our specially formulated anti-galling compound. This design allows for smooth installation while ensuring robust performance throughout the service life of your infrastructure.
- Pressure Rating: Pressure Rated to 1600kPa (Tested to 2400kPa)
- Temperature Range: -40°C to 70°C
- Compliance: WaterMark certified and WSAA Appraised
- Standards: Meets AS/NZS 4793:2020 – Mechanical Tapping Bands for waterworks purposes
4N Tapping Bands accommodate a wide range of pipe configurations, making them an ideal solution for diverse water infrastructure projects. The innovative colour-coding system simplifies field identification, reducing installation time and potential errors:
- Blue: Designed for Series 2 PVC & Ductile Iron potable water applications rated to PN16
- White: Suitable for Series 1 PVC irrigation systems rated to PN16
- Lilac: Ideal for recycled water applications, available for all pipe types
- Black: Specifically developed for PN16 Rated Polyethylene (PE) pipes
Available in sizes from 40mm to 315mm with tapered BSP threaded Off Takes in 20mm, 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, and 50mm, providing comprehensive coverage for AS diameter pipes. We also offer specialised tapping bands for 40mm and 50mm copper pipes.
- E-Lip EPDM Rubber Seal: Requires minimal bolt torque, reducing point loading on pipes while maintaining effective sealing
- Anti-Galling Compound: Applied to all nuts and bolts, ensuring smooth installation and future maintenance
