Vigilant Forward Looking Sonar (FLS) systems are designed to enhance underwater situational awareness by providing real-time 3D images of the seabed and water column. These systems employ sonar technology that alerts users to potential underwater collision threats, such as floating containers, marine life, and uncharted geographical elements. Vigilant offers models with hazard detection ranges of up to 1,500 meters and is suitable for various vessels, including commercial, military, cruise, exploration, and private watercraft. The systems are characterized by their compact design, allowing for ease of integration with existing bridge systems and can be retrofitted to any vessel. The systems operate effectively at speeds up to 25 knots and can provide bottom mapping at depths reaching 100 meters. Vigilant systems support both 3D and SONAR mode operations, with a wide field of view of 120 degrees.
