WBE - Model EZ Access -Wood/Bark Hogs
The efficiency and safety of the EZ Access technology is now available for new wood hogs and as a retrofit to existing Jeffrey Rader machines. The Model WBE wood hogs have been redesigned with Jeffrey Rader`s exclusive EZ Access technology, which allows safe, fast, and easy access to the hammers, rotor, and liners. Now maintenance operators can safely and quickly clear plugged chutes to minimize downtime and perform routine maintenance with more saftey and ease. The new EZ Access technology also lets operators remove the wood hog`s rotor without removing the feed chute. This tehnology is available on new Jeffrey Rader Wood Hogs and can also be added as an upgrade to existing Jeffrey Rader Wood Hogs.

- Wood Hog Hammer Design: Several hammer designs are available for both standard and SS design rotors.
- Extended Lower Design: Lower housing is extended to provide 180° of screen grate area.
- Heavy-Duty Rotor: Our disc-type rotor is assembled on a high, alloy-steel shaft and is mounted in self-aligning spherical roller bearings in rugged steel housings.
- Hydraulic Bearing Removal: To substantially reduce maintenance time, the rotor shaft is drilled for the hydraulic removal of the bearings. This ensures quick bearing removal without damaging the shaft.
- Screen Grates: Slant-Flow screen grates are unique to our wood hogs. Unlike conventional screen sections, the Slant-Flow design is angled into the flow of the material being shredded. This gives more shredding action and allows the material to evacute faster.
- Liners: All liners are manufactured from thick abrasion-resistant steel plate to protect against high impacts and normal wear.
- Tramp Metal Protection: Every Jeffrey Rader wood hog has an integral metal trap that effectively collects the odd pieces of smaller tramp metal, which can damage your wood hog.
- Steel Housing: Rolled-steel, structurally reinforced housings ensure long-lasting durability. When Jeffrey EZ Access Wood Hog shown closedproperly maintained, the hog`s fully lined interior prevents the housing from wearing on the inside.
