Unlike typical body temperature patches which are not considered FDA clinical thermometers, the Vivalink axillary temperature patch is a clinical thermometer that can provide a medically accurate (armpit) reading in ambulatory and remote patient monitoring settings. This sensor has been used in clinical studies such as neurological drug development and chemotherapy remote patient monitoring.
