Welysis - Hydrochloric Acid
Welysis specializes in the production of high-purity hydrochloric acid through advanced electrolysis technology. The process begins with hydrogen and chlorine gases that undergo combustion, followed by absorption of the resulting hydrogen chloride gas in water, resulting in hydrochloric acid with a 32% concentration. Strict quality controls ensure the acid's suitability for industries like pharmaceuticals, electronics, and chemicals, maintaining impurities such as iron and heavy metals at minimal levels. The facility's technology ensures continuous high-quality output with systems that monitor operational conditions like pH, conductivity, and temperature in real-time, and employs strategies for waste minimization and by-product recycling. A strong focus on safety and compliance with international standards ensures that both personnel and environmental safety are prioritized throughout the production and handling processes.
Our electrolysis plants produce hydrochloric acid or HCI, an aqueous solution of hydrogen chloride gas. It has a variety of industrial and commercial applications.
HCl is produced by the combustion of hydrogen gas with chlorine gas. Subsequently, the hydrogen chloride (HCl) gas is absorbed in water to produce hydrochloric acid at a concentration of 33% w/w.
