Wilcox - Maximum Duty Ripper
The 5000 Series Ripper are true Rippers with with a clear and extreme Wilcox design concept drawing from construction grade technology. It was designed to deal with the most extreme agricultural tillage conditions, and has the ability to achieve greater depths in the toughest soils throughout the world.
We start with a double tubing bridgework frame built around the shank pockets, which delivers over 3 times the torsional and longitudinal strength to our frame.
Next, we build our exclusive tapered pockets shank months which come very close to a ripper whereby shanks and frame are one. This is achieved through pre-loading tapered top shanks into tapered pockets built into the double heavy tube frame. This rigid, durable construction eliminates any bolted connection and more importantly, any shank to frame play.
With this unique Wilcox design, coupled with the choice of up to 2” x 48” shanks, it’s practically impossible to find a condition the Wilcox 5000 Series Ripper can’t conquer - all in a day’s work!
