Blaze Barrier - Model 25ft -Wildfire Protection System

Users can lay out the Blaze Barrier around their property in anticipation of a wildfire threat. In the event the fire is halted prior to reaching the barrier, the modules can be repacked and stored for future use. Nevertheless, users are strongly advised not to remain in proximity to the Blaze Barrier during a fire due to the unpredictable nature of wildfires and the potential for blocked evacuation routes. When it arrives, the flames trigger the release of a non-toxic fire extinguishing powder
that knocks down the flames and creates a fire-retardant barrier.
STEP 2
Deploy
When alerted to a wildfire in your area, deploy the Blaze Barrier as shown on the side of the box. We recommend deploying the Barrier long before the fire arrives, but not so early that the product could get wet and become ineffective.
If the fire is stopped before it reaches your home and the Blaze Barrier modules were deployed but unused, you can re-pack them in the box and save them for another time.
STEP 3
Evacuate
DO NOT STAY to see if the Blaze Barrier works. Wildfires are highly unpredictable and can overrun or block your exit.
Obey local law enforcement and fire personnel and evacuate the area.
The bottom of the Blaze Barrier box shows a warning to others that the Blaze Barrier has been deployed nearby. Set them up near the deployed modules so others know to stay back when flames are nearby.
STEP 4
Suppression
The Blaze Barrier will suppress the flames when they reach it, and not before. The expelled payload of fire extinguisher powder knocks down the big flames and covers the surrounding vegetation with powder. This keeps small embers from re-lighting on the other side.
Again, if you're in the area please keep everyone back 50 feet from the Blaze Barrier when flames are nearby.
STEP 5
Clean up (or don't!)
Every component of the blaze barrier is biodegradable. For all modules that have exploded, the remaining pieces and powder can be left alone.
If the Blaze Barrier was deployed on a lawn or you just want to pick up what's left, the pieces can be placed in recycling or trash.
We do recommend picking up and discarding unused Blaze Barrier modules. Just pull hard on the fuse to remove it from the module, this deactivates the explosive charge inside. The rest of the module can be disposed of according to your local fire extinguisher disposal policies.
