The Wire Scraper is a trolley, shaped as a framework that operates with two wheels running along the bottom of the basin and a third wheel in the guide beam. The guide beam is fixed to the bottom, which ensures correct positioning along the bottom, irrespective of the basin’s width. Both the scraper blade for bottom sludge and the blade for surface sludge are made in one piece. Both blades swing into a horizontal position when travelling back. The surface blade also swings horizontal when it passes under drains.
