SHARE

Rectangular rubber coated magnets are usually produced by using NdFeB magnets, so it has a strong holding force. Its rubber coating is made of TPV, it is suitable for use on delicate surfaces. Rectangular rubber coated magnets have the same advantages of the regular round rubber coated magnets, good slip resistance, and the rubber also protects the magnet system from occasional moisture and splash water. For external mounting with other parts like screws, and hooks we have two versions: one M4 internal thread hole in the middle and two M4 internal thread holes.

  1. Rectangular magnet 43x31mm with 1xM4 or 2xM4 threaded holes.
  2. Using neodymium magnet, the strength could reach 140N.
  3. Soft rubber coating prevents the magnet from sliding even on smooth surfaces.
  4. Durable TPV rubber covering allows the magnet could be applied in indoor and outdoor.
  5. Possible to expand application by fixing with screws, and hooks.
  6. RoHS & REACH compliant.
  7. Other colors of rubber coatings in white, red, and yellow are available, and other sizes could be customized according to your requests.

We test the holding force of magnetic assembly by attaching it on a 20mm thick steel plate (low carbon steel with no coating) at room temperature and then pulling it slowly in vertical direction with the device that is sensitive enough to record the strength at the moment when magnetic assembly is separated from the steel plate. This is to give you a reference while the actual holding force in real application could be different with the change of pulling direction, thickness of the steel, surface treatment, etc.

  1. The magnets must be attached on a ferromagnetic metal, like the copper, aluminium, SUS304 stainless steel, which has no iron in it would not work.
  2. It needs to be taken into consideration that the threaded hole is not a through hole, on the bottom(magnetic) side, there is still a rubber covering, so when threading the screw or hooks, you need to take care of not screwing the internal thread too deep to avoid piercing through the rubber coating.
