YASA ETModel PREDEST -Wastewater Reduction Equipment

SHARE
The intelligent equipment for reclaimed wastewater PREDEST® was developed by YASA ET following the principles of electrocoagulation. It adopts the design concept of "recycle first, treat later", which can greatly reduce the investment and operation costs, while at the same time eliminates wastewater disposal.

The patented technology of YASA-PREDEST® with shells and rods structure integrates three processes for treating wastewater:

1. Electrolytic catalytic oxidation

2. Electro flocculation

3. Electro floatation

Thanks to its design the equipment has a high removal efficiency of most of the substances contained in wastewater, including heavy metals, calcium and magnesium ions, fluoride ions, COD, BOD, ammonia nitrogen, oily wastewater, etc.

Electrocoagulation, the passing of the electrical current through water, has proven very effective in the removal of contaminants from water.

The electrical current provides the electromotive force causing the chemical reactions. Sacrificial electrodes supply either aluminium or iron cations that assist in a formation of more stable compounds – the contaminants form precipitating hydrophobic entities.

YASA ET PREDEST® wastewater treatment allows several distinct electrochemical processes to occur during the electrocoagulation process.

YASA ET PREDEST® is the most cost effective and elegant solution for many water treatment problems.

The advantages of our electrocoagulation equipment are:

- The system has a small footprint;
- It requires minimal additional chemicals to achieve the desired results;
- It uses a lower amount of power compared to other systems.

PREDEST® electrocoagulation technology handles mixed waste streams (for example water polluted with oil, metals, and bacteria) very effectively as different processes take place at the same time and wastewater characteristics (pH, standard redox potential, conductivity) can be varied and optimized for maximum removal efficiencies of the specific pollutants to be treated.

After the treated wastewater leaves the electrocoagulation chamber, the destabilized colloids are allowed to flocculate in the settling tank and then separated in an integrated system. Membranes can also be integrated in PREDEST® to achieve the desired treatment results.

If required, the sludge from PREDEST® after the electrocoagulation can be further de-watered using a filter press, settling pond, or other de-watering techniques.

The electrocoagulation solution offered by YASA ET with its PREDEST® can be applied for the treatment of many different wastewaters and it represents a very cost-effective solution.
