How are PET bottles made?

The production of PET plastic bottles is made by automatic plastic bottle blowing machines. It can blow PET polyester particles or prepared PET preforms into plastic bottles through molds and certain technological means. The first method is a one-step structural blow molding process, which directly uses a fully automatic blow molding machine to blow the raw materials into shapes. The mechanical functions used in this method are complex and expensive. Most companies usually use a two-step blowing process, that is, first use a PET preform making machine to make raw materials into PET preforms. The preforms are then blown into plastic bottles using a PET blow molding machine.

What is the production process of the blow molding machine?

1. Warm up. The prepared PET preform body part is heated. Because the bottle mouth part is shaped and does not need to be heated, the bottle mouth needs to be cooled during the heating of the embryo body.

2. Blow molding. Put the uniformly heated PET preform into the mold of the blow molding machine. The preform is stretched by blowing sterile high-pressure air into the preform until it has the same shape as the mold, and then cooled.

3. Demoulding. After blowing the bottle, exhaust and demould.

4. Send. The device can be used with a water bottle filling machine. The PET plastic bottles after cooling and demoulding are transferred to the station of the water bottle filling machine through the conveyor belt for filling.
