Zetas - Media Filtration Systems
In Media Filtration systems , the mineral is placed in a pressurized tank. The tank material can be manufactured as epoxy coated carbon steel, internal part coated in accordance with food norms, galvanized, stainless steel or FRP (fiber reinforced plastic) according to the pressure, capacity, characterization of the water to be fed and the sector where filtration will be used.
Polluted water passes through the media in the pressurized tank, leaving the pollutants and exits filtered. The media saturated with contaminants is automatically cleaned by backwashing according to a predetermined time, flow or pressure difference. Service and backwash automation is done with automatic control valves mounted at the mouth of the tank in small capacities, while in large capacities it is done by electrical or pneumatically controlled valves on the tank surface controlled by PLC.
