Accurate And Reliable Tightness Control Or Leak Detection

SHARE

We determine the liquid-tightness of sealing systems first in an one-time overview measurement. Only in case of leakage, a detailed measurement is carried out to localize the leakage in the context of AS 6702 or other environmental regulations.

WHAT SETS US APART

WE ARE SPECIALISTS IN DETECTING LEAKS. YOU BENEFIT FROM OUR SERVICE AND KNOW-HOW

One of the major advantages of our patented leak detection technologies is that the sealing constructions do not have to be emptied or cleaned, and do not interrupt the production. This saves the client a lot of time and money.

The purpose of tight-untight measurements is the proof for the client that the waterproofing of their installations are tight and secure for the environment.

We perform a geo-electrical measurement, if a visual inspection is not possible for instance when the construction is covered with contaminated soil or if a construction is filled with liquid.

When we prove the sealing is tight, the client will receive a certificate.

ACCURATE AND RELIABLE TIGHTNESS CONTROL
OR LEAK DETECTION ON SURFACE OR UNDER WATER

Leakages in horizontal and vertical sealing systems can be detected accurately, reliably and mostly non-destructively with our leak detection technology.

Texplor’s mobile leak detection measurements are carried out either with the single-sensor leak detection method (EFT®) or a the multi-sensor method (FGM®) to prove the tightness of the waterproofing or locate the leaks.

We place an electrode outside the construction for example in a well and send electrical tracers to our sensors. We place the sensors in a grid either directly on the ground or in the water which are connected with cables to our FGM® measuring units or the mobile EFT® data logger.

Our measurements can be carried out regardless of the construction material.

Special software is used for the measurements and data evaluation.

In the Netherlands we investigate the tightness of sealings or construction of our clients every 6 years according to the state regulations. The results are presented in a report and displayed for the client an overview map of the investigated area.

This evaluation of the results can be used to carry out a targeted and cost-effective repair of the waterproofing.

Our leak detection services do not include repair works.
