Retreading Business is a specialist magazine for the tyre retreading industry and claim to be the only truly global specialist publication aimed specifically at the retreading sector.

The magazine was established in 1997 by British tyre industry journalist and publisher, David Wilson. At the time of the magazine’s launch David already had over 10 years experience in the tyre publishing sector, having previously worked as editor for both the UK’s leading tyre industry journals. During this period he had identified the potential for a specific trade magazine for the retreading industry worldwide, having noticed that the various national tyre industry magazines across Europe, were too wide in their editorial scope for retreaders and too narrow in their circulation, given the increasingly global nature of the retreading industry..

Retreading Business is now firmly established as a vital informational tool for the retreading sector. The magazine has an extremely international profile, with correspondents across the globe and a presence at most key international tyre exhibitions including Autopromotec, Reifen, Recaufair, Tyrexpo Asia, Tyrexpo Africa etc.

In addition to Retreading Business magazine, Retreading Business Ltd also publishes Tyre & Rubber Recycling, a magazine for the tyre recycling sector, Commercial Tyre Business, a truck and bus tyre magazine for commercial vehicle fleets and Tyre Price Advisor, the UK’s first tyre price comparison website.

Retreading Business has a sister company in Malaysia, Tyreman Enterprise, which publishes “The Tyreman” and “Truck and Bus News”, specialist business-to-business publications for the South East Asian market.
