Air Quality And Regulatory Support
The Clean Air Act places stringent air emission requirements on industry. These already stringent requirements are becoming more stringent with phased changes in legislative and regulatory requirements included in the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990, and in state and local regulatory programs. These changes mandate the reduction in emissions of air toxics, particulates, chlorofluorocarbons, and pollutants which contribute to acid precipitation.
Resolve compiles emissions inventories and completes State and Title V permit applications for proposed and expanding facilities. Resolve engineers conduct dispersion modeling and outdoor ambient air monitoring, environmental assessments involving air quality issues, and process and control audits for existing facilities. Working closely together, our engineers and scientists conduct health risk assessments for emission receptors to determine the environmental and public health impacts of air emissions. Additionally, Resolve handles all the reporting requirements of permit holders to ensure compliance and to remove this burden from the facility.
Resolve’s engineers have performed emission inventories and completed Title V, SIP permit applications and RACT Plans for over 200 facilities located throughout the Southern and Mid-West states. This extensive experience is complimented by a comprehensive knowledge of state and federal regulations. We have assisted numerous clients achieve and maintain compliance while minimizing costs and disruptions to production operations. At Resolve, we always consider plant operational requirements in preparing air permit applications, monitoring and operating plans to allow the client the maximum possible operational flexibility.
