Air Quality Monitoring Services

SHARE
SRC offers air quality monitoring services that provide long-term environmental and economic benefits, including long-term emission reduction potential. Through our services, clients gain a clearer understanding of the type and concentration of airborne aerosols and gases exhausted into the environment.

We offer the following air quality monitoring services:

Industrial Source Testing
SRC characterizes various gases such as SO2, NOX, HCl and Cl2 emitted from industrial sources.

We measure:

  • Real-time stack concentrations of greenhouse gases (GHG) such as CO2, N2O and CH4; RATA testing for various pollutant gases
  • Semi-volatile organic species such as PAHs, PCBs, dioxins and furans

High performance tests and high temperature stack sampling (1100°C) are also available.

Dispersion Modelling
Dispersion modelling is carried out using the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)/AERMOD Regulatory Model.

Ambient Air
We conduct ambient air quality monitoring at plant boundaries, or within airsheds/airzones for SO2, NOX, O3, H2S and PM2.5, in accordance with standards set by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment.

Industrial Hygiene
Air quality is measured within industrial workplaces, including gaseous compounds. Particulate material can be collected in the inhalable or respirable size ranges and characterized for metal content. Particulates generated from the coal, wood, biomass, potash and hard rock mining sectors can be characterized for concentration and size.

Environmental Testing and Analysis
SRC`s Environmental Analytical Laboratories provides world-class analysis of our field samples.
