Air Tightness Testing Services
Air tightness testing became a statutory requirement under Part L of the UK Building Regulations in April 2002, with updates in April 2006 and October 2010. As a result, all residential buildings that pass through the planning and building control processes have to comply with Part L; which will likely result in a selection of dwellings requiring air tightness testing. Most popular related searches

The testing, which is carried out across a selection of residential units depending on development size (and version of Building Regulations) determines the amount of air leakage in and out of a given building, in order to satisfy the maximum leakage rate of 10m3/(h.m2) @ 50Pa or the maximum Target CO2 Emission Rate (TER).
As one of the few companies who are UKAS accredited for air tightness testing and sound insulation testing, Hann Tucker Associates are pleased to be able to offer the option to perform both services in a single visit to reduce costs.
