NACO offers expertise combined with hands-on experience to design new airside infrastructure and to plan major rehabilitation programs of distressed pavements. Our designs are based on principles such as efficiency, reliability and safety & security. We provide creative solutions and construction phasing plans to minimize disruption while implementing on operational airports, to reduce risks and to optimise sustainable use of materials. We adhere to value engineering principles to control costs. We offer services related to the technical planning and engineering of all the civil elements of an airport including: runways, taxiways and aprons and associated systems, roads, ducts, drainage, signage, etc. all in accordance with international regulations.

Due diligence
We support industrial clients in developing and implementing management systems for health, safety and environmental aspects. These systems can be tailor made and are often supported by ICT. Our services include environmental, health- and social impact assessments and risk analyses related to working conditions. We also provide advice and expertise on obtaining and managing IPPC permits.
External safety
Our chemical technologists are ready to assist you in the area of process safety. These activities are related in part to the Decree on the Risks of Major Accidents 1999, the External Safety (Establishments) Decree 1999 and the ATEX directives, and safety reports are drawn up in cooperation with the clients’ specialists. Among other things we specialize in safety reports, safety management systems, quantitative risk analysis, environmental risk analysis, disturbance analysis, accident investigation, explosive safety and safety audits.
For you as an employee of national, provincial, municipal or regional authorities, external safety is one of the spearheads in policy and implementation. So that you can tackle this spearhead successfully, we offer you knowledge and experience acquired through our involvement in drawing up and executing provincial implementation programs of external safety, drawing up external visions of safety for local authorities and investigating real pressure point situations in the field of external safety and spatial development. We can give you strategic advice, for example if it is a matter of justifying the group risk or determining how sources of risk from institutions or transport are dealt with. We also offer you hands-on support—for example by carrying out inventories (RRGS, drawing up alert charts) or bringing environmental permits up to date.
