Viasat - Alarm Management Services

The Operations Center facility is able to verify and manage anti-theft alarms, emergency situations, and requests for assistance effectively, as well as coordinating Law Enforcement interventions.

Above all, all the notifications and alarms sent out from the Viasat device reach the Operations Center complete with all indications concerning the date and location of the event; this enables targeted and timely interventions.

The Center is equipped with hardware and software tools that are in constant communication with the Viasat device installed on board the vehicle, and enable the activation of commands such as:

• tracking, which allows for the tracking of the movements of the vehicle
• location requests
• engine ignition block/unblock for the immobilization of the vehicle once it is turned off (if applicable)
• activation of a siren or optical/acoustic disruptors to facilitate the finding and recovery of the vehicle.
