From Monitoring & Testing
Environmental Efficiency can undertake the entire range of ambient monitoring and is able to monitor for dust, PM10, PM2.5, formaldehyde and many other substances. Dust monitoring is generally for 30 days using Bergerhoff Dust Gauges. PM10, PM2.5 is usually monitored for 24 hours using automated samplers. Formaldehydes and other substances are monitored for shorter periods usually using impingers; whilst SOx and NOx are monitored using thermal decomposition tubes.
Ambient monitoring is often necessary to support licence applications or as part of an EIS. Environmental Efficiency has carried out ambient monitoring for other consultancies such as Golder Associates, RPS and others.
