We Turn Work Plans into Cost-effective Results
Once an asbestos abatement plan has been finalized, we put our greatest resource to work for you – one of the most experienced and best-trained HAZMAT workforces in the nation. All of our technicians are AHERA trained (a rigorous program recognized by the EPA). These skilled technicians utilize the most comprehensive and innovative abatement methods, from high-volume vacuum systems to the latest in pressure washing equipment, to remove asbestos swiftly and safely. NCM crews are particularly effective at accomplishing abatement without disrupting clients’ routine business operations. Plus, we meet or exceed every OSHA and EPA requirement and provide you with a full report upon completion of the project.
Asbestos: A Few Facts
Asbestos was once considered the 'miracle fiber' because of its wide range of physical properties and uses. With the discovery that release of asbestos fibers and subsequent inhalation and accumulation in the body cause serious health problems, liability claims increased dramatically. Today, a huge number of asbestos-related lawsuits are yet to be resolved.
A mineral fiber, asbestos was once added to products to strengthen them and to provide thermal insulation and fire resistance. Today, use of asbestos in building materials is banned, and owners of buildings constructed before 1981 must be able to prove that their building is free of the hazardous material.
