AB GM has a graduate degree in engineering and can draw on longstanding professional experience, especially with respect to detecting and measuring asbestos and artificial mineral fibers in power plants and industrial plants, as well as organic/ inorganic pollutants in buildings.

Compliance with the personal and technical prerequisites and conditions required for consultancy services in this field and for the performance of air measurements – as defined in the German and European legislation (VDI, TRGS, DIN, EU Directives, ISO, etc.) – is assured. AB GM acquired the obligatory certificates of competence (Sachkundenachweise) based on TRGS 519 (for asbestos), BGR 128 (coordinator for pollutants in buildings) and has been certified by TÜV Rhineland as "Fachberater für Schimmelpilzschäden" (expert advisor for damage caused by mold fungus).

The sampling performed by AB GM and the analyses performed by accredited, external specialized laboratories are in conformity with the high international quality and environmental standards in line with DIN EN ISO 9001, DIN EN ISO 14000, and with the competence criteria of DIN EN ISO 17025 and the quality assurance measures required by DIN EN 45001.

By participating in annual expert seminars, forums, congresses and workshops, AB GM assures integration of the latest expert knowledge into the activities of assessing and evaluating damages and hazards caused by mold fungus and asbestos, and measuring the levels of hazardous substances and pollutants indoors and in working areas.

The internal quality management of AB GM is based on the provisions of quality management standard DIN EN ISO 9001.
