Automotive Certification Scheme For ISO/TS 16949

Guideline UNE-ISO/TS 16949:2002 "Quality management system. Specific requirements for applying Guideline ISO 9001:2000 in the mass production of all automobile industry spare parts", groups together all the reference standards of the automobile sector.

It responds to the need to unify the requirements established by the reference standards AVSQ-94, EAQF-94, QS 9000 and VDA 6.1 and 6.4, which are of vital importance for automobile suppliers, automobile manufacturers, automobile components manufacturers and in general, for any professional related to that sector.

AENOR has entered into an agreement with the international entity Automotive Task Force (IATF), by virtue of which AENOR is authorised to certify the Quality Systems of its organisations in accordance with guideline ISO/TS 16949.
