The Ohio EPA guidance document for biomonitoring requires permittees to collect additional aliquots of sample each day to perform general chemistry analyses. Not only does the analysis of your general chemistry help you stay in compliance with the EPA’s requirements, it can also help you identify the sources of contamination in the event toxicity is detected.
