MINORE™ offers a suite of solutions for developers & contractors to support biodiversity & remediation projects. The UK is one of the world’s most nature-depleted countries in the world. The Biodiversity Intactness Index (2021) by the Natural History Museum found that the UK was in the bottom 10% globally, came bottom of the G7 and has just half of its biodiversity left compared to a global average of 75%.
From November 2023, the UK government will be introducing Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) for new developments. This will require developers to calculate the level of biodiversity on a site before development begins & then ensure that the new development results in a net gain in biodiversity of at least 10%. MINORE™ is working with BNG consultants to offer the market BNG credits to market from land within our estate.
