E Light is proud to be on the cutting-edge of technology by utilizing BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes with 3D CADD software. This ensures that projects are completed faster, smarter and more accurately, while improving field coordination with the team. We utilize 3D CAD for design documents, shop drawings, field layout drawings, and as-built drawings, and will work with all disciplines to develop and update coordination drawings.
Our BIM process is currently completed utilizing NavisWorks Manage 2012 and AutoCAD MEP 2012. AutoCADD MEP 2012 allows us to accurately model 3D electrical systems using built-in known standards and limits to the layouts. NavisWorks Manage 2012 allows us to create our own clash detection reports with other trades. This permits us to correct any issues before the model is turned over for coordination.
