When I started in this industry over 20 years ago now, I started from the bottom. Over these past two decades, I’ve climbed the ladder, moving up rung by rung, through operational roles and middle management, before landing a role as director at a leading liquid waste management company prior to creating CountyClean.

Starting on the ground floor has given me first-hand experience of all roles in my business, and the understanding and experience I’ve gained throughout my journey has, I think, placed me in an ideal situation to form CountyClean Environmental Services and to grow and develop our business.

When you’ve worked in the industry as long as I have, you start to notice things – operational issues and inefficiencies you come across when you’re working in the field that perhaps might be missed in the boardroom.

The decision to start up CountyClean was an easy one for me to make back in 2007. It meant that I had the freedom to put into practice everything I’ve picked up over the years and to really do things properly.

CountyClean, then, is a reflection of this experience, and I’m very happy that I’ve had the opportunity to shape it in a way I know works best for everyone.

I’m very proud of the work we’ve done so far, and passionate about continuing in the same vain to ensure best practice for liquid waste management services is a staple at CountyClean well into the future.
