Calibration Services
InnoCal®, a division of Cole-Parmer®, specializes in instrument calibration. Our accredited metrology laboratory has helped thousands of customers meet ISO, FDA, USDA, EPA, GLPs/cGMPs and other quality standards.
1. PRE-calibration
If you are purchasing a new instrument from Cole-Parmer simply have InnoCal calibrate the item before it is shipped.
- Determine the new instrument you need.
- Select the specific calibration service we have paired up with each instrument that our metrology lab can service.
- Add these 2 items to your cart and place your order.
- Your instrument will arrive certified traceable to NIST Standards!
2. RE-calibration
Ship your existing instrument to our laboratory for regularly scheduled maintenance and recalibration to keep your business running smoothly.
- Call us— We will verify our lab can calibrate your exact model.
- You will receive a quote for the calibration service (including optional A2LA accreditation, special requirements, etc. and your desired interval date), service turnaround time, and price.
- We generate a Return Authorization number and Safety form so you can properly and securely send your instrument to us.
- Once we receive your instrument, we send you a receipt confirmation by e-mail.
- Our highly trained technicians calibrate your equipment according to the quote agreement, then the work is assessed by our Quality Reviewer. We carefully package the equipment and send an e-mail confirming the shipment back to you, including the tracking number.
3. On-Site Services
If your facility is located in the Chicagoland area or if you require a large volume of instrument calibration, we can discuss and arrange on-site calibration capabilities.

Calibration Traceable to NIST
We provide you with the documentation you need to meet your most stringent quality requirements for the control of inspection, measuring, and test equipment. We will calibrate your new or existing instrument traceable to NIST standards.
Calibration Report with test data, including:
- Description and identification of the item
- Condition of the item as received
- Identification of calibration procedure
- Calibration date
- As found/as left test data
- Electronic signature of technician
- Statement of estimated uncertainty
- Test uncertainties (TURs)
- List of standards used to perform calibration (including their calibration dates)
