Ceramic Membrane Filtration System
The "Ceramic Membrane Filtration System" is a reliable technology to produce clean water by removing the turbidity, bacteria, and cryptosporidium and other protozoa contained in raw water sources such as surface water and ground water. Using a unique ceramic membrane as a filter, this system is a low cost and long life filtration system. Therefore it can enable a water supply system to meet recent demands for safe and tasty water.
Conventional treatment processes, such as slow sand filtration, rapid sand filtration, etc., are being replaced by the newly introduced treatment processes using membrane filtration. We embarked on the development in 1989 and participated in the national water supply system projects in Japan such as MAC21, advanced treatment MAC21, ACT21, and e-Water to create a ceramic membrane filtration system with higher performance at lower cost.
Safe and High Quality Water
The 0.1µm pore size membrane removes most of impurities, organisms and harmful bacteria.
Stable Operation
The system can operate without shutdown even in a sudden turbidity increase in raw water.
High Water Recovery Rate
More than 98% of raw water is recoverd as treated water because of dead-end filtration and low backwash frequency.
Easy Operation & Maintenance
Mechanically and chemically strong ceramic membrane offers simple operation.
Low Operation Cost
Higher energy efficiency and longer membrane life significantly reduce operating cost.
