The new EU- Regulation for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) came into force on the first of June 2007. REACH replaces about 40 pieces of legislation with a streamlined and improved regulation on chemicals and will cover more than 30.000 substances.
