Roadway Design (Urban & Rural)

Jones Edmunds has successfully completed a variety of projects, from traffic studies to large urban and rural transportation projects. We are registered in engineering and geology and have professionals on staff with credentials in LEED, GISP, and Advanced Maintenance of Traffic.

Our Transportation Team offers these services: roadway design; new and re-alignments; lane widening and additions; traffic signal design; 3R projects; pavement design and analysis; and trail, bike path, and pedestrian designs. Our Team prepares roadway design, hydrologic and hydraulic, traffic, PD&E, air quality, and municipal studies, as well as preliminary design and environmental studies and analyses.

Enhancement Project (Pedestrian & Streetscape)

As a full-service civil engineering firm, Jones Edmunds has successfully completed a variety of roadway and streetscaping projects including all aspects of roadway design, from conceptual alignments to utilities coordination. Our comprehensive knowledge of roadway design will be an asset to our clients, and we will be able to execute planned improvements efficiently and without issue. Site Development
Jones Edmunds offers turn-key services in taking a project from the conceptual stages through final completion of construction. Jones Edmunds has performed projects for federal, state, county and city government agencies, as well as for private entities, in a variety of locations and environments, and offers the flexibility of functioning as either lead consultant or as a subconsultant.

The services provided by Jones Edmunds range from conceptual studies, preparation of detailed drawings and specifications, to construction-phase services inclusive of resident observation. In addition to, and in support of, Jones Edmunds’ civil and environmental engineering capabilities, Jones Edmunds has in-house structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering support, as well as a full staff of environmental scientists and construction professionals. Jones Edmunds design personnel are fully integrated with our construction management personnel team, contributing to smooth transition from project design to construction-phase services.
