Civil Maintenance & Scaffold Services
BHI Energy provides civil maintenance and scaffold management services to nuclear, fossil and industrial facilities nationwide. These services include scaffold, insulation and coatings program management. Implementing our program as part of a site continuous improvement plan results in reduced operating and labor costs for our customers.
BHI Energy’s scaffold management and reduction program is proven to reduce labor costs, radiation exposure and OSHA-required inspection time by 15-20%. The program uses Excel Modular Scaffold material, an ISO 9001:2000-certified modular scaffold system with a patented mechanism that allows for quick and easy assembly and disassembly without the use of hand tools. Excel is adaptable to virtually every scaffold configuration within nuclear power plants, shipyards, oil refineries, offshore drilling platforms and chemical plants.
BHI Energy has the capability of full service design, development, qualification and fabrication of custom components through our partnership with Deltak Manufacturing, Inc. Deltak is the sole manufacturer of Excel scaffold and has developed patents for innovative scaffold components including semi-permanent shielding racks and towers and a Reactor Vessel Head Flange Adapter (RVHFA).
