15x cost reduction ~ 70x reduction in energy use ~ 15x increase in capture efficiency ~ proven operation on power plant flue gas; CO2  fixation and storage via microalgae are essentially photosynthesis, which can transform water and CO2  to organic compounds without extra energy addition or consumption and without secondary pollution. Microalgae`s ability to transport bicarbonate into cells makes them well suited to capture carbon. Carbon dioxide—or bicarbonate-capturing efficiencies as high as 90% have been reported in open ponds. We can manage microalgal production facilities necessary to capture carbon-dioxide (CO2 ) emissions from stationary point sources such as power stations and cement kilns.
