Birkitt has provided services for extensive coastal and marine projects throughout Florida. Services have included design of shoreline protection efforts including surveying, environmental, engineering, and geotechnical services to complete conceptual and construction designs; development of detailed water quality and construction monitoring plans to ensure protection of water quality and coral reef, seagrass, and other benthic habitats. Sea turtle and manatee protection and monitoring plans have also been developed.
